The Missouri Virtual School (MVS) was organized in 1998 to address the needs of rural schools in
MVS courses are placed in the student’s regularly scheduled day and meet just like any other class offered at the school. There are two main ways classes are delivered. One way is in a synchronous format taught through interactive television or Adobe Connect Pro. The other way is through blended technology for very small classes. Blended technologies use a combination of synchronous and asynchronous components to deliver curriculum materials.
